Doniree is a sprinkle of Southern charm, a dash of Minnesota nice, and a whole lot of wanderlust.

She grew up in Tennessee, rocked high school, college and the start of her 20′s in Minneapolis/St. Paul, and currently lives in Portland, Oregon. While she loves Oregon’s wine and food scene, proximity to both mountains and beaches, and doesn’t mind the rain in the pacific Northwest, she sees Southern California in her not-so-distant future. Or maybe the East Coast. Or maybe Hawaii.

By trade, Doniree is a recovering media buyer who now makes a living as a blogger, freelance writer, and social web strategist. Her clients include non-profit organizations, new media agencies, gadget websites, women’s health and birth centers, as well as other bloggers looking for a little WordPress help and how-to. A firm believer in balance, she’s also a certified yoga instructor and hopes to complete some sort of culinary training by the time she’s 30 (which is sooner than later!).

She’s active on the 20SB admin team, is starting a web services business with a friend and fellow 20SB member, and dreams wildly and often of becoming rich and Internet-famous.  Doniree loves a good latte, the Portland Farmers’ Markets, flaky croissants, red wine, and gets a little too excited over brand new notebooks. She believes in champagne with breakfast, kitchen-dancing, and living with intention.

Her big dreams include finding a way to pair her love of yoga with her love of cooking in some Super Awesome Career (or book deal?) she has yet to aptly name. She also wants: a summer home in Minnesota, a winter home in Southern California, and to strike a gorgeous balance between Location Independence and digging deep roots into her still-crafting definition of what home truly means.
