If you’ve never accepted a free hug from one of those people with the “Free Hugs” signs, I suggest you remedy that ASAP. I also suggest you pose for a photo in the process. Hugs for all!
Up and coming on doniree.com:
- Photos from wine-tasting in McMinnville
- Photos and notes about my visit with my parents over the weekend
- A life-in-general kind of update where I tell you more about this internship I started (with a chef!) and point you to some amazing from-scratch things I’m learning how to make.
- You asked, I’ll blog it – a few separate people asked me last week, “So… how exactly did you get to be a full-time freelancer?” So I’m going to answer that.
- Giveaways x2. A cute Etsy accessory-maker and some really cute t-shirts.
So! Much! Stuff! Stick around, yo.
(And no, I don’t know this guy. Never seen him before in my life. So what?! Hugs for everyone! In fact, this is my little virtual hug for YOU!)

Yay free hugs! Can’t wait for the stuff coming to your blog
I have ALWAYS wanted to see someone with a sign like that. I would definitely hug them.
p.s. this video always makes me cry:

My little sister and I were going to go to the mall and give away free hugs a few years ago, I even had a t-shirt made for it that said “I <3 Hugs!" (which is lost now), but then Life got in the way and we forgot about our grand plan.
I saw a guy wearing a FREE HUGS tshirt by the pool in Vegas and I just stopped in front of him and held my arms out. It took him a second but then he remembered and he picked me up and twirled me around. And then humped me so I guess that was free too.
Free humps! Wait.
We gave out free hugs one Christmas Eve in San Francisco’s Union Square.
Fun times.
I totally accepted a Free Hug once and it was the best thing ever! I love it when the Free Hugs people invade Pike Place in Seattle – makes my day!
