One of my favorite things in life is relationship-building, not only through my own friendships and relationships, but I absolutely love to connect people. Remember how excited I was about getting to connect so many of my girlfriends when I hosted that Nintendo party last summer? My college girlfriends, some high school friends, current roommates, and some colleagues all showed up to play with their brand new DSi’s, and I just basked in being able to have all of my girls in one place at the same time.
Similarly, when my career life gets to blend things like that, I get all kinds of excited.
This week, I’m thrilled to finally be heading up the new relationship between Lijit Networks (disclaimer: they pay me, and working here is awesome) and 20 Something Bloggers (they don’t pay me, but anyone who knows me knows how important this community has been in my life in the last couple of years, and being able to be involved is one of my favorite activities).
The details are on the 20 Something Bloggers blog, but essentially the jist is this: Derek and I have spent the last couple of months talking through and tweaking the Lijit custom search and stats tool to provide a better, more organized search for 20SB (disclaimer, that is a referral link – 20SB makes a little money for sign-ups from our community through that link). It’s still growing and evolving based on the needs of the community, but it launched last night.
