I had been calling old friends, reaching out, sending cards, chatting on the phone and making plans for happy hours and dinners next week. It feels so good to talk to them again, some of us separated by states, others by schedules and others yet by lifestyle (marrieds, parents, etc). I'm so glad that I finally got in touch with them; phone tag is definitely not on my "friend" list. I've always wondered what it would be like to have a sister.
