Looking forward to more video in the future. My advice - especially when filming yourself - is to just go for it. When you try to script things it gets awkward and loses it's meaning. Just go with it, and if you need to do some editing, go ahead - although everything I've done has been 100% ad-libbed, for better or for worse, right?

You did that with iMovie? YEEESH. The "video" I did for my friends with iMovie could've have used an effect. Or two.

Some of the best advice I've gotten so far (from
phampants<http://phampants.wordpress.com>)
was just to shoot and shoot and overshoot, knowing you can edit later. I
didn't use near the footage I had available to me for these videos, but with
iMovie, I was able to pick clips that worked for what I was doing. I think
pham's advice to just get too much material means you'll have a lot to work
with. Now, the next thing I need to work on is being comfortable talking TO
the camera in one of these. Baby steps!
