What is a Nico?
from the d-tionary (pronounced ‘dee-shunary’, you know, like D’s Dictionary? Right. Got it.):
Pronunciation: nee-ko
Function: noun
Etymology: Pacific Islander word for “can haz awesome”friend, blog-fixer, music-creator, idea-bouncer-offer-each other-er, fellow obsessive wordsmith, and one which I can discuss things like karma, dogma, lolz, and general geekery, all in one conversation.
Nico said:
“blogging is more about community interaction than self-indulgent individuality.”
To that, I say holler.
He also said some really nice things about me and some of my other favorite bloggers today (and like, so totally nailed Derek in the best DShan Blog description EVER). I just wanted to say thanks, even though I realize that at this rate, if we keep going back and forth thanking each other for nice things said, we’ll dedicate a post a week or so to each other’s awesomeness.
For the record, I’m cool with that.

Mostly, I'm stoked that my heart revolution image is starting to spread.
Also, good call on using the appropriate article to designate what is a nico ("a").

I loved Nico's post and this one too. I was trying to explain to a non-blogging friend what's so amazing about this community and it was hard to put into words.
