Week Two of the Pay-It-Back Round-Up (week one is here), here are some more awesome things happening around the Internet right now:

Giveaways

  • More Starbucks giveaways!  MaggieWorking GirlJoy AshleyAlexa and Maxie. Go enter to win!
  • This week’s Etsy: Adore at Oh! How Lovely – Shops, Jamie features jewelry-maker, June Shin. Click here to poke around and enter!  Seriously, this jewelry is GORGEOUS.  I absolutely adore this one, if anyone’s interested in sending some pretty love my way :)

My Friends’ Projects

  • I “met” Nate recently through the Social Media Powers that be (thanks, Twitter!), and I’m enamored with what he’s doing right now through It Starts With Us, a “global community of individuals focused on making a positive impact in the lives of the people around them.”  Because who can’t get on board with that?  The ideas are inspiring and practical, and I’m excited to be a member of the A-Team. (PS, Nate, I wrote this BEFORE we talked, so I thought you were awesome before I saw the “Free Hugs” poster in the background while we chatted.)
  • Derek, Tony, and Shelley (a girl I don’t know but if Derek and Tony say she’s awesome, then by gosh, she rocks) have launched Friends of Slow Money – “a grassroots movement to seed a new economy.”  You guys. This is insanely awesome.  Get on board.
  • ErinParker.net – EP takes some amazing photographs and has taken her photo blog to the next level with some really great weekly features.  Follow her!  I promise, you’ll be blown away.
  • Kate and Katie have been working their tails off with run2inspire, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about cervical cancer. Check it out, get involved!
  • Matt Stratton (who is my favorite person this week, seriously) recently introduced me to Christina, the chicky behind StackedBlog.com. If you’re a bookish type person, you HAVE to check this out.  Best of all? So much of what they’re doing promotes independent booksellers and that’s just awesome.

Don’t Forget to Vote!

  • Vote for me here, tell me you did here, enter to win a Nintendo DSi.
  • My yogi friends Greg and Phil need your votes to win a trip to Chang Mai, Thailand. Help ‘em out!

Hey bud, thanks for the shoutout! I wasn't aware that the "FREE HUGS" sign was visible . . . perhaps I'll move that for my next convo… :)

Great links! I just made an awesome discovery–you can use multiple browsers on the SAME computer to vote, so you just got FF, Chrome, and Safari votes! =)
