Currently, teachers get raises for years of service and for the amount of education. This means that an excellent teacher and a a terrible teacher can make the same amount of money if they both have the same education and years of experience. What's that about?Teaching is an amazing profession and an awesome responsibility. It's time for this country to start giving good teachers the professional recognition they deserve.
