		<description>I think one of the biggest things that can be done to improve the teaching profession AND the state of education in this country is to move to performance-based pay.  Currently, teachers get raises for years of service and for the amount of education.  This means that an excellent teacher and a a terrible teacher can make the same amount of money if they both have the same education and years of experience.  What&#039;s that about?Teaching is an amazing profession and an awesome responsibility.  It&#039;s time for this country to start giving good teachers the professional recognition they deserve.</description>

		<description>oh... they learn all these tools in grad school because they have to... but that is why everyone isn&#039;t running around with a REAL PhD or MS or MA.  :)  you should go to grad school, then you&#039;ll feel right at home.</description>
