Roomie Night

Cheers!

It happens about once a month or so. We all figure out we’re going to be home or around on the same night and we jump on it. I love having roommates that WANT to spend so much time together.

It doesn’t happen that often that we get to, especially not during any season other than summer. But when we can, we jump on it. We almost hold Roomie Night a little sacred.

But it’s rare because we’re 25-26 years old and BUSY 20-somethings.

Sasha works The Government and when Congress is in session? We barely see her. Angie’s getting in gear to start up nursing school and between jobs and classes and prep like that, she’s a busy girl too. Allison teaches part-time and is also a student herself.

Me? I work my full-time job, spend my weeknights playing softball and catching up with people, and my weekends jet-setting.

Angie’s birthday was this past week and we planned dinner at Cafe Maude. We shared apps, veggies, salads, fishes, flatbreads and two bottles of wine – one of which was this beautiful rose.

Next time we go there, we’re strictly doing wine, cheese, bread, and dessert because these are the things we overlook when we’d rather gorge ourselves on seared tuna, hummus flatbread, and grown up mac and cheese.

Cheers, roomies. Living with you three is a dream come true.

Happy ladies! There’s nothing better.
So who has the blue nails?

I want to be your roommate. 'nuff said. But seriously, it's so great that you have a group of girls that like each other and have a good time spending time together, even if those times are few and far between. Sometimes I think about getting a roommate as I have a 2br apartment to myself, but then I think that I wouldn't be lucky enough to find a roommate that I could handle. My standards are high. But yours sound amazing! Cheers to good friends!

It's definitely worked out extremely well! I think it helps that we're all
busy, we're all different, and we're all a little to old for drama and
such. I love looking forward to night's we're all home at the same time!

Man, Cafe Maude is excellent. Last time I was there, I had the milk and cookies for dessert. Best. Thing. EVER.
